Finding the right image
Search, filters and collections, and what each one is good for.
Search
Type what you are looking for in the bar at the top. Search reads an image's title, description and keywords, so plain words work better than clever ones: "empty office" finds more than "corporate vacancy".
Filters
The panel on the left narrows what you are looking at:
- Orientation — portrait, landscape, widescreen or square. Worth setting first if you already know the shape you need.
- Colour — pick a swatch to find images whose overall tone matches.
- People — none, one person, two, or three and more.
- Usage & AI — commercial or editorial, and whether to include images made on the platform.
Collections
The front page carries curated sets built around a theme. They are a good starting point when you know the mood but not the subject.
Density
The three small buttons above the grid change how large the pictures are. Compact fits far more on screen when you are scanning quickly.
